King Sunny Ade fired back at haters for wanting him dead

On Monday, May 2, award winning veteran juju artist King Sunny Ade was rumoured dead. It was speculated that the music star died during a stage performance as he slummed on stage.

The Sunny Ade in as interview with Saturday Beats (Punch Newspaper), cleared the air on being a dead man, or ever being admitted in the hospital. KSA added that he still does not know why anyone would wish him dead.

The juju star said: “If I were in a hospital, I would say so. There wouldn’t have been any reason for me to lie. In fact, the hospital would also see me as a liar if I lied that I wasn’t admitted or sick. But the truth is that I have not been sick. I am hale and hearty.”

He further added that: “Don’t mind them. But they can’t kill me. God will not allow anything to happen to me. I performed at Tunji Braithwaite’s burial on Saturday night and I wasn’t ill. I am just coming from Oba Awujale’s palace in Ijebu Ode as you are talking to me. I am very healthy. I am not on Facebook, so I didn’t even read the story. It was friends that called me to tell me about what they read. I still pray for those who started the rumour. I don’t look for enemies and I don’t have any enemy.”

King Sunny Ade who will clock 70-years in September added his radio station will kick off soon as the launch date will soon be announced.
